Asthma is another disease that often happens from being too heavy. This is such a debilitating disease. When you can’t breathe you have every right to panic. Watch out for the snack attacks. It is very easy to justify what you eat when you are snacking. I got into a rigorous exercise program and so through out the day I used to snack fairly often. I thought since I was exercising, I would just work it all off. A peanut butter cup here, a few chips there, something small but fried. The problem is those are not healthy snacks even if you are exercising, you could still be putting your self and your weight at risk. If you ever stop exercising you will still have those old eating habits, you will gain your weight back and once you gain your weight back, there is a good chance you will gain more then you had originally lost.<BR><br />

That does not mean it cannot be done. It also means that it took time to put that extra weight on; it will take much longer to take it off. I believe these are the facts. Of course there is the surgery that you can now have which does make it happen quicker but all that you have to go through with that is really involved and I would think dangerous.<BR><br />

Lets first look at diets in general for <B>losing weight</B>. There are so many different diets that one can pick one and try it out. Is one better than another? That is a matter of opinion. You talk to one person about their diet and they feel it is the best. One reason is probably because they have had success with that particular diet. Many times people will lose weight successfully with a particular diet and then they get to the weight they are happy with when they stop the diet and start to gain the weight they lost back again. I believe to be successful with a diet, you have to change the way you eat for the rest of your days or you will gain it back.<BR><br />

Taking pills that help you lose weight is another popular way to <B>lose weight</B>. There are some weight loss pills out there that have been safe to use but there have also been ones that are not safe. They are supposed to be taken off the market after enough people have had dangerous effects from taking them. Before taking any pill for weight loss, I would check with my doctor to be safe.<BR><br />
