Are you in one of these categories? Are you slightly overweight, overweight or obese. It is probably the safest if you first have a physical examination by your physician. Let your Doctor know you are concerned and you want his advice on your lose weight program. Ask for his suggestions for treatment; ask what you should weigh and how much you should lose in what time frame.
Now you have the Doctors opinion and his expertise on your particular situation. From this point on you can take his advice and he will give you some leave way for your choices and desires. To lose weight becomes a new life style. Your goals and commitment are of the utmost importance. Writing down your goals and time frame based on your Doctors advise will be helpful.
If you are left with making up your mind on which diet you want to go on, you can go to Google and study all that is said there. You will find a great deal of information. From there you can make some decisions. You will need to be determined and with your successes, reward yourself in some way when you reach different goals. You need to be encouraged by what you are doing to lose weight and by having a support group of some kind will be helpful. You are not alone. There are many people doing the same thing America is in an epidemic state of need for people to lose weight. Many peoples health depends on it.
Exercise is important to add to your diet and to lose weight. Exercise will firm up your muscles and tighten your skin as you lose weight. This of course will improve your appearance and give you some reward as well. So choose some exercise that you enjoy doing. Many like swimming and it is considered one of the best. Water aerobics are fun and helpful. Walking is very popular and you can join walking groups and find friends for life.
I commend you for starting on a journey that will bring you better health and a great deal of pride. You will enjoy buying new clothes and feel more confident. To lose weight is beneficial in many ways and I know you will enjoy your success.
