Lose Weight

Dieting takes some dedication. patience and focus. Sometimes we can end up back where we started or even putting on a few more pounds. Here are some suggestions to help you to lose a few pounds without losing interest. When you try to lose weight, remember to lose in a healthy and safe way.


1) Cutting out all the foods that you love can be a difficult thing to do so try to eat lower calorie versions of them. Go for the low fat and low sugar versions and make sure the low fat version isn’t loaded with sugar. You also need to make sure that the low sugar version hasn’t had the sugar replaced with sweeteners as this can be even worse if your goal is to lose weight.


2) Be aware of the size of the meals you eat. The larger the portions the more calories you are consuming and more calories means the likelihood of a few extra pounds evry so often. Try putting your food on a smaller plate which should make you have smaller portions of food.


3) Don’t think of exercise as being exercise. Instead, look at it in a different way. For example, you could go swimming or walking with a friend and think of it as just a pastime instead a way of achieving lose weight.


4) lose weight diets can easily feel like you are denying yourself foods. Instead of thinking this way add new foods to your diet such as interesting fruits and vegetables. When people think of diets they think of having to go without, but, in this case you are adding instead of taking away.


5) If you don’t like the idea of exercise then just go walking whenever you can, walking is a great form of exercise and many people don’t class it as exercise. You can also try to go up and down stairs more often or maybe get outside and do some gardening. Your lose weight will be enhanced when you embark on some exercises so don’t ignore this important part of your regime.


6) Before your main meal drink one or two glasses of water at least 25 minutes before you plan to sit down to eat. This will help you to feel full and therefore you will eat less.


Above all, be patient when it comes to achieving your lose weight. Don’t try to lose too much weight all at once and realize that once you have lost the weight you will have to keep up with your healthier lifestyle to ensure you don’t put it all back on. And make excercise part of your goal to lose weight.
